About Lorna

Lorna is a 12 year old Schnauzer mix who weighs just under 10lbs. She is sweet, quiet and calm, enjoys taking long naps & chewing bones. She's dog & cat friendly. Lorna walks well on a leash and she's both outside & pee pad trained. Lorna came to us back in July from a local county shelter in near-death shape. We have spent all these months getting her medically stable and she's finally ready for her retirement home. Lorna has been diagnosed with IMHA; a condition where the immune system attacks & destroys its own red blood cells. She will need to remain on medication for the duration of her life and be monitored with bloodwork. Her meds cost approximately $30 per month.
