About Star

Star is a beautiful 2-year-old Blue Heeler mix with a gentle heart and a story of resilience. She came from a home with too many dogs and was given a chance to thrive in foster care, where she lovingly raised seven wonderful puppies. Now that her motherly duties are behind her, it's finally Star's turn to find a family of her own. In her foster home, Star has blossomed into an affectionate and devoted companion. She loves being close to her people, enjoys playtime, and has moderate energy. She gets along great with other dogs. Star is completely potty trained, but a little nervous walking on a leash. She takes her job of watching over her home seriously and will bark to let you know when someone arrives. Because Star is not comfortable around children, she is looking for an adult-only home where she can continue to feel safe and secure. Star's adoption fee is $125.00 and includes first vaccinations, worming, microchip, and spay. We have a dog park to check compatibility with possible sibling dogs. Please fill out an adoption application and a volunteer will contact you in 2-3 business days.
