Hi, I'm Callie - I'm a Sweet Sixteen Senior with lots of love to give I know 16 might sound like a lot in cat years, but hear me out: I'm actually a great friend for a fellow Senior human. I'm not going to shred your curtains or knock things off the counter at 3am. My wild days are behind me, and what I want now is simple - a warm lap, a sunbeam, and someone patient to share them with. My current foster mom has been told I am probably a Himalayan, but we don't have a DNA test to prove it. I'm a calico girl and have been declawed, so I'm gentle on furniture and hands alike. I love a good piece of catnip, I'm endlessly entertained by shoelaces (a classic for a reason), and my favorite hobby is napping - ideally on you, but a sunny windowsill works too. I do take a few daily medications, but don't let that scare you - most mix right into my soft food, so it's genuinely no trouble. I also love energy work like Reiki which makes me feel younger. I come with a medical trust fund to help cover my vet care, which takes a lot of the guesswork out of that part. I lost my human mom in June, and adjusting hasn't always been easy. But I have so much affection to give, and I think a calm, loving home is exactly what would help me feel like myself again - and I'd return that love tenfold.
