Describe me in 3 words: Smart, loving, and loyal! My favorite thing in the whole world is: Keeping an eye on my favorite humans! I'm a loyal companion who likes knowing where my people are and making sure everyone is accounted for. My funniest or biggest quirk: One of my eyes couldn't decide what color it wanted to be, so it went half blue and half brown! I like to think it makes me extra special. Why settle for one color when you can have two? The quickest way to win my heart: Pets, affection, and a little attention. I'm pretty easy to please! If I were a person, I'd be: That funny, lovable friend who's always looking out for everyone. You know the one who checks to make sure everybody made it home safely, remembers everyone's birthday, and somehow knows all the neighborhood gossip without ever leaving the front porch? That's me! My perfect day looks like: Waking up next to my favorite person, enjoying a nice walk, checking out what's happening around the neighborhood, and spending the rest of the day relaxing with my family. I'm not asking for a packed schedule. Just include me in your everyday life, and I'm happy! Things I LOVE: Being around my people, getting pets, going for walks, and keeping an eye on everything happening around me. I'm a people-loving girl who enjoys being part of the family. Things I'd rather skip: The grooming blow dryer! I'm all for looking beautiful, but do we really need that noisy contraption? Where/how I like to sleep: Right next to my person. Why sleep alone when I can be close to someone I love? How I do in the car: Great! I'm a wonderful passenger and happy to tag along. What I do when I'm home alone: Nap! I know how to entertain myself with a good snooze until you return. Potty trained? Yes! Crate trained? Somewhat. I'm familiar with a crate but could use a little more practice. Leash manners: Good! I enjoy walks and do well on a leash. Commands I know: Sit, paw, and come! See? I told you I was smart! Things I'm currently learning: Lay down. I'm a quick learner, especially when someone takes the time to work with me. My Friends: Dogs: Yes! I do well with other dogs. Cats: Unknown. I haven't been tested with feline friends yet. Kids: Absolutely! I really enjoy children and would be happy in a family with kids. New people: I'm friendly and enjoy meeting people. Visitors to the home: Yes! I do well when people come over. My Perfect Home My ideal family: Big family, small family, single person, or couple - I'm not picky! What matters most is having people who love me and include me in their lives. I'm an adaptable girl who can fit into many different households. Activity level: Low to medium. I enjoy walks and activities, but I'm equally happy relaxing at home. You don't need to be a marathon runner to keep me happy! Do I need a fenced yard? Not necessarily, but I'd certainly enjoy having one! A safe place to explore and enjoy the outdoors would be a bonus. Apartment-friendly? Potentially! With my moderate energy level, good leash manners, and relaxed personality, I could do well in an apartment with regular walks, enrichment, and appropriate exercise. Would I love another dog, or would I rather be the star of the show? Either works for me! I'm a bit of a chameleon. I adapt to my surroundings and can be happy sharing my home with another dog or soaking up all the attention as your one and only. Just One More Thing�'�| What's something every adopter should know about me? I'm one of those dogs who doesn't need a whole lot to be happy. I just want to be loved, included, and close to my people. I'm smart, affectionate, loyal, and adaptable. Whether your household is busy or quiet, I have a way of fitting right in. Tell us your favorite story or memory with me. One of the sweetest things about me is how naturally I take on the role of watching over my people. I like to know where everyone is and what's going on. It's not about needing constant attention. I just genuinely enjoy being part of the family. My loyalty is one of the things that makes me so special. Why do you think someone will fall in love with me? Because I'm the kind of dog who makes everyday life better without asking for much in return. I'm past those wild puppy stages, but I still have plenty of personality and love to give. I'm affectionate without being overly demanding, playful without being exhausting, and loyal without needing to be the center of attention every second.
