%BD%BD%90%BD Meet Rooster! Looking for his forever family! %BD%9D%A4%BD%BD%8F Rooster was found roaming the streets of South Texas in May 2026 and has been in a loving foster home ever since. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, heartworm negative, and super healthy! Rooster is initially shy but warms up quickly with a calm environment. He tends to be more unsure around men but has never shown any aggression, he just makes himself small. He is incredibly sweet, gentle, loyal, and super laid-back. He listens wonderfully, is fully potty trained, and is crate trained! He's still young and occasionally needs supervision with chewing, but does great when he has his toys and bones. He also rides wonderfully in a car and walks fantastic on a leash!! He has no anxious tendencies whatsoever and seldom barks, unless our donkey is terrorizing him through the fence haha. He loves nothing more than relaxing on the couch or curling up in bed with you. He's also happy sleeping in his own bed nearby! Rooster absolutely LOVES other dogs, big and small! He plays beautifully with them and really blossoms in their company. We would love to see him in a home with another dog, as they help build his confidence and give him so much joy. Rooster must go to a home without cats. Unfortunately, he was involved in a serious incident that resulted in a cat's death. We want to be completely transparent so he can be placed in a safe, appropriate home. Rooster is truly one of the most incredible dogs we've ever fostered. If we didn't have cats of our own, we would keep him in a heartbeat. He has so much love to give and deserves a family who will love him just as much in return. We are in no rush to place him and will be very selective about his forever home. He deserves nothing less than the very best. %BD%9D%A4%BD%BD%8F Please reach out if you think you could be the perfect fit for Rooster! %BD%BD%90%BE
