About Hank

German Shepherd mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Hank is sweet and loving to his people. He can be very playful and can also be chill. He loves other dogs and has been fine the few times he's been around cats. I am looking for home for him with a trainer or someone experienced with shepherds (and possible malinois) who have territorial aggression with a bite history. This occurs only with people he doesn't know and at our home or our yard. Hank is very skittish and shy in public (vet, groomer, boarder, pet smart, park) and has never been aggressive in any other setting than our home. Another option would be someone who lives on some land, possibly with other dogs because he loves to play with them, who doesn't have many visitors, but can contain him when you do. I am really trying to avoid having him euthanized. The thought sickens me. My heart is broken just having to get rid of him, but I'm about to be keeping my grandchild and I can't take the risk. Can anyone please help Hank or know someone who can?
