About Koko

This is a a sad story. We brought Koko home as 4- month old kitten and all was fine while at the breeder's home - 90 minutes later when we got home she rushed to the basement and stayed there for 3 weeks. Over 12 tears of having Koko she's lived with 4 cats and 4 different dogs with no issues - in fact she loves being around other animals. People is the challenge - we've never been able to connect and bond with her. She lives today in our guest bedroom most of the day, only going to the basement for a meal or the litterbox. This is the ultimate cat-whisperer challenge - we want for her to have some form of decent life as she's healthy and a beautiful cat (photos to follow soon). She need extra-special handling and am still not sure it can work - but I'd love someone with better skills than I to give it a go.
