About Callie

Sweet Callie is an 8 mos old, 5 lbs, Calico kitten. She is due to be spayed December 1st through the ASPCA in Asheville, NC that will be paid for by PAWS of Rutherford County, but those arrangements can be changed if adopters want her now. She gets along well with other cats and especially enjoys playing with her 1+ YO, DLH, Maine Coon 'sister', Purrdee (also listed on RescueMe ID# 26-10-13-00128). These two would like to be adopted together or they can be adopted separately as she's still young. Callie was in a home with an aggressive Dachshund who would go after her that made her fearful around dogs. The dog was rehomed and she is coming into her own as a confident pet. We believe if properly introduced to a cat-friendly dog or young puppy that they could become friends. She is litter box trained and strictly an inside cat. Callie is very affectionate and still a curious kitten. She likes to be where you are and follows wherever you go, basically, your little adorable shadow. She has no special dietary needs and is still on kitten chow. When her owner first rescued her, she had a skin condition on her head and back of neck, but with medication it has almost all grown back. Callie likes to sleep in the bed with you right next to your head and play with whatever she discovers laying around. And she loves her Temptations Treats!! Would you open up your heart to give precious Callie her forever home?
