About Heidi

Heidi is an 11-year-old Dachshund mix who is truly as sweet as they come. After her beloved owner passed away, Heidi found herself needing a new family-and what she wants most is a comfortable lap, gentle affection, and someone to love again. This happy little chunk of love adores everyone she meets! Heidi gets along well with other dogs and cats, is potty trained, and walks nicely on a leash. She may be a senior, but she still has plenty of happiness and love to share. Heidi is heartworm positive and, because of her age, will be treated using the slow-kill method under veterinary guidance. This precious girl has already lost the person she loved. Now she deserves a soft place to land and a family who will make her golden years some of her very best. Heidi's adoption fee $125 and includes first shots, deworming, microchipping, and spay. We have a dog park to check compatibility with existing dogs if needed. Fill out an adoption application and a volunteer will contact you 2-3 days.
