About Pepe

Pepe is a total sweetheart with his people. He's great with me, my roommate, and anyone he knows well. He's extremely cuddly and loves to throw his whole body onto you for affection. He's also a happy passenger who loves car rides. He's a brilliant, high-drive herding mix who lives to work. His ball is his favorite thing in the world, with a couple of squeaky toys as close runners-up, and he'll fetch for as long as you'll throw. He knows his basics and has started agility-style tricks like spins in both directions, jumps, and backing up. His best game is staying put while you hide his ball, then sniffing it out. Since coming home, he's been doing ongoing training to build his confidence on walks. Once he trusts you, he's loyal, affectionate, and eager to please. He'd thrive with someone who wants a true partner for fetch, nose work, agility, or herding.
