About Skipper

Skipper has a brother also that will be listed His name is Gilligan. Skipper and Gilligan are a sweet, 5-year-old pair of orange and white cats. They were originally my mother's cherished companions, and they are deeply bonded to one another. They must be adopted together into a home where they can stay partners for life. These boys love to be part of the action! They are highly curious and love to follow you around to see exactly what you are doing. However, they are shy about being on your lap or being held a lot. They prefer to just hang out nearby, supervise your day, and keep you company on their own terms. They were raised alongside a Miniature Australian Shepard, Gillian loved to play with the dog, Skipper just calmly tolerated her. They have never been with large dogs, so I don't know how they would feel about that, I believe if the dog loves cats, the boys wouldn't mind the dog. They have been around adults, children, grandchildren, they would calmly tolerate the grandchildren trying to hold them. This incredibly difficult decision to rehome them because my mom passed away in Sept. I am preparing for upcoming move by Oct. 26th and I unfortunately can't bring them with me. We want to honor my mom's memory by finding them a wonderful permanent home. Skipper loves to play fetch with a crumbled-up piece of paper and if you ask him to catch, he will catch it with both hands. He loves to open any cupboard door and sneak in it.
