(willing to drive up to 30 miles ). 1 Y/O FEMALE GSD (DOB: 9/11/25). Her name is 'Baileigh'. Background: Current Shepherd Parent has had Baileigh since she was weaned. NOT UTD on shots WITH record. Not Fixed. Good with kids, but NOT compatible with toddlers. Baileigh is very high-energy, jumps up on little ones, and knocks them down. She currently lives with children ages 3 and 4, but she is constantly being kept separated from them. Good with dogs. Socialization with unfamiliar dogs is limited, and she needs proper introductions. Good with cats in the sense that she is not aggressive toward them, but she chases them. A home with cats is probably not a good fit. NOT House trained. Baileigh is kept outside during the day and sleeps inside her crate at night. Crate trained. Sleeps in her crate at night. Any known medical issues?: No known medical issues Disclosed. Abuse/Neglect/Trauma History?: Stranger fear and fear-based aggression have been reported. ENERGY LEVEL: High. PREY DRIVE LEVEL: Medium. Weighs 60 lbs. Currently on food: PURINA PUPPY. Good with car rides?: Yes. Socialized with: *people?: No. Baileigh struggles with stranger fear. *dogs?: No, but when she was in training for 6 weeks, the trainer said she did well around the other dogs. Good with meeting new people? (ALWAYS USE PROPER INTRODUCTION!): No. Baileigh is Reactive and fearful around strangers and has displayed Stranger Fear Aggression. Slow, controlled Introductions are important. Loves: Attention, love, cuddles, going on walks, playing with kids, being near her person, Milk-Bones, and antlers. *Intelligent and knows Basic Commands?: This breed is super intelligent. *Good Recall? (ALWAYS RETRAIN BEFORE ALLOWING OFF LEASH): Yes. *Good on a Leash?: No. *Lovable?: This breed is super lovable once they claim you as their person/family. *Eager and fast learner?: This breed is super fast learners when they are being committed to and worked with. She is a young Shepherd who wants to play, receive affection, and be loved. She deserves a home where her energy, training needs, and fears can be properly addressed.
