About Woody

Meet Woody! This adorable, one-year-old pup has completely transformed in just a few days! Initially terrified of his new surroundings, Woody has quickly blossomed into a sweet, playful, affectionate little wiggle worm who loves cuddles, toys, and attention. He can be timid around new people and dogs, but with a little patience and reassurance, his fun-loving personality shines through! Woody has been wonderful with his resident canine companion and loves playing with other pups once he feels safe. He's respectful of other dogs' boundaries, has shown no aggression, and learns quickly from his canine companions. We think he'd thrive in a home with another friendly, confident dog! He's also incredibly smart! In just a few days, he's mastered walking nicely on a leash, made great progress with potty training, sleeps through the night in his crate, and is already learning commands. He's still building confidence when left alone and may whine or bark before settling, but he's improving every day. Woody would be a wonderful addition to a patient, loving family, including one with gentle children. At just one year old, he has so much love to give, and it's been amazing watching his sweet, goofy personality emerge! Woody is in foster in Colorado Springs, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/woody You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.
