%90%BE Dear Bo Peep's Future Family, I don't know who you are yet, but I really hope you're out there. And I hope you find this little girl soon. You see, I was there at the very beginning of Bo Peep's story. I was the volunteer who found her mama, Bonnie, outside, pregnant and absolutely terrified. Bonnie was scared out of her mind, and I knew we had to get her somewhere safe before her babies arrived. We got Bonnie into rescue, and because of that, Bo Peep and her siblings were able to enter this world surrounded by warmth, safety, and love instead of fear and uncertainty. And now, somehow, those tiny babies are 14 weeks old. I look at Bo Peep and wonder how in the world she hasn't been chosen yet. She's everything you could want in a puppy. She's incredibly social, loves other dogs, adores kids, and is always ready to play or make a new friend. She's sweet, curious, affectionate, and has spent her entire little life learning that people are good. But here's what worries me. Bo Peep is a black puppy. And as much as I wish it weren't true, I've been in rescue long enough to know that black dogs are often overlooked. There's even a name for it: Black Dog Syndrome. I don't want that to be her story. I don't want to watch her grow from a tiny puppy into an adolescent dog while people scroll past her picture. I don't want her to miss out on these important early months of bonding with the family she'll spend the rest of her life loving. At 14 weeks old, she should be learning her family's routines, figuring out where her favorite spot on the couch is, and discovering which person will sneak her an extra treat. She should be making memories with YOU. Please don't misunderstand me. Bo Peep is safe. She is loved. Her foster family is giving her everything they can. But a foster home was never supposed to be the end of her story. When I found Bonnie that day, I made sure she had a chance at something better. I never imagined I'd still be asking people to give one of her babies that same chance 14 weeks later. So, to whoever is supposed to love this little black puppy for the rest of her life'| Please find her. She's growing up while she waits for you.
