Name: Cooper Breed: Lab Age: 8 years old (135#) Sex: Male (neutered - not confirmed) Location: Glenn County, CA Vet Info: Current with vaccinations (not confirmed). HW negative (not confirmed). Blind and has 3 legs. Owner reports: Owner is moving and is unable to take Cooper with her. She is moving at the end of October 2026. Cooper is said to be an outdoor dog without restrictions. He is reported to be house broken and leash trained. Cooper is said to be good with adults and children of all ages, as well as other dogs, cats and small animals. 'We have 3 other dogs and 3 cats. he can get a little snappy when he thinks food is around but it is just because he can't see the food.' It is reported that Cooper has no bite history and was only aggressive once, when one of the smaller dogs attacked him. 'We are not sure why he went blind. He stepped in a hole at the ranch at a high rate of speed and tore everything in his left front leg, We spent five months doing acupuncture, acupuncture with stimulation and physical therapy to save the leg. None of that work and we had to have the leg amputated and around a year later he started to go blind.' Can anyone help sweet Cooper? **Owner Surrender Disclaimer: These are blind and visually impaired dogs who are living in homes, but their owners can no longer keep them.
