About Nala

�%9D%A4��%8F Looking for a Loving New Home for Nala �%9D%A4��%8F It is with a very heavy heart that we are looking for a new home for our beautiful 6-year-old Bluetick Coonhound, Nala. Nala is a sweet, affectionate girl who loves her people. She has a wonderful personality and is a loyal companion. She can be protective of her home and yard when unfamiliar people visit, but she is loving with the people she knows. Unfortunately, Nala has had repeated conflicts with our elderly female Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, including incidents that have resulted in injury. After much consideration, we have made the difficult decision that finding Nala a different home is the safest and kindest choice for everyone. She has done just fine with other dogs at dog parks, on walks and with our other dog at home and at dog daycare. We believe Nala would do best in a home with someone who understands hounds and can provide the love, attention, exercise, and structure she deserves. We are not looking to surrender her to a shelter. Our priority is finding the right person or family who will love her as much as we do. This is an incredibly difficult decision.
