Hi, I'm Eryn! I'm a 2-year-old Rottweiler with a big heart, a playful personality, and a little independent streak. I may not love everyone immediately, but once I bond with you, I'm incredibly loyal and affectionate. I like keeping track of my people, and my favorite place to sleep is right beside your head on a pillow! I get along with male and female dogs when introductions are done properly and I'm given time to adjust. I enjoy playing with other dogs and can share toys, but I'd prefer to eat my meals without anyone interfering. I have two sides: the calm girl who enjoys relaxing nearby and the goofy girl who gets the zoomies! I love balls, tug-of-war, water, playing with the hose, and getting everyone involved in my games. I know 'sit,' am house-trained and crate-trained, and ride well in the car. I can entertain myself when you're away, but when you're home, I'd rather be part of the action. I do need to be safely secured during car rides because watching traffic can get me overly excited. I'm looking for an experienced dog owner who understands Rottweilers, respects my boundaries, and knows that good relationships take time. I don't need to be best friends with everyone immediately. Let me settle in at my own pace, and you'll discover what a wonderful companion I can be. Could you be my person? %9D%A4%8F What Eryn Needs in Her New Home An experienced dog owner who understands Rottweilers and canine behavior. Proper dog introductions and patience while she adjusts to new dogs. A home that respects her boundaries, especially around food. Daily exercise and play to channel her energy and zoomies. Space to run and play safely. A securely fenced yard would be a bonus. Mental stimulation and interaction, including toys, fetch, and tug-of-war. Consistent rules and structure to help her succeed. A safe crate or designated space where she can relax when home alone. Safe car restraint to prevent her from becoming overly excited by passing traffic. Time to build trust and form a strong bond with her new family. What Eryn Needs to Avoid in a New Home NO Inexperienced dog owners who are unfamiliar with Rottweilers or large, powerful dogs. NO Forced or rushed dog introductions or expectations that she immediately accept a new dog. NO People who ignore canine boundaries, particularly around food and personal space. NO A home that cannot provide adequate exercise, play, and enrichment. NO Unsecured outdoor areas where she could run into danger. NO Unsafe car travel without an appropriate restraint. NO A household expecting an instantly social dog who loves every person and dog she meets. NO An owner unwilling to provide structure, consistency, and patience while she settles in. My ideal home? Someone who appreciates my loyal heart, understands my big personality, and gives me the time and guidance I need to thrive. I'll bring the affection, the laughter, and the zoomies. You bring the love and leadership. Deal? %9D%A4%8F
