Olive is a unique situation. I can tell you that she is your typical cattle dog. Full of energy, wants to herd and ball obsessed. Unfortunately, her humans did not put in the proper training for her breed. She loves her people but is a powerhouse when she plows into you with her solid 35lbs. Olive came into my care as an emergency placement for temporary housing. Her humans separated and the wife decided she no longer wanted Olive. Unfortunately the husband does not have a place that allows dogs, but he was going to try and find a place. Hee was supposed to continue providing her food and care but had not followed through. I was originally told she loves other dogs and was ok with cats. After the first few days of decompression, she started to snap on my dogs (2 Australian shepherds and a mix pitty) and go after the cats. I have been able to separate her into the office.
