Please help us find Ducky a home. She's been hurt too many times now. We pulled her because there was a plan for someone to adopt her. The adopter asked us if we could board her temporarily (2 weeks) while she had some things done to her house and she'd be ready to take her in. Well, as the time came for Ducky to leave boarding and go to her new home we kept calling this lady, texting her, emailing her. No response. More calls, texts, emails. Nothing. It had been over a month and we still never heard back from her. At this point I already knew she wasn't committed to Ducky and never was. And this is exactly what I've talked about before. It's these kinds of people that aren't any different than people who surrender their dogs to shelters. No commitment and abandoning dogs without any hesitation. The lady finally responded to us a couple days ago with 'I'm in Florida just put her up for adoption online.' Wow. After a month of draining our resources and time, she finally admitted she didn't want her. And of course hasn't offered to help with the boarding or food. There are no excuses for hurting Ducky like that. She deserves better. Dammit, someone please step in to foster or adopt this sweet girl. She's house trained, loves playing with other pups, and doesn't mind the cats either. Shes truly a sweetheart and has been let down by so many. Let's find her a home that won't give up on her before she even arrives %9D%A4%8F
