My name is Kyle. I have a 3 year old NKC registered American Bulldog. Her name is Lady, and she weighs around 100 lbs. She loves to play and cuddle. Has always received top-notch vet care and is a member of our family. Unfortunately, Lady is in a power struggle with our six year old male Boxer/Bulldog mix. Lady is the more aggressive and usually the instigator of the two. They love each other, play together, but are very jealous of each other getting attention from their humans. This leads to regular 'fights' if we don't keep a close eye on them or keep them separated. The fights are not serious and rarely even cause bleeding but they still have to be broken up and it has become more than we can deal with anymore. We have tried since she was a puppy, and enough is enough. Lady doesn't trust strangers, and it takes a little time for her to get to know someone. We usually have a muzzle on her the first 30 minutes or so that a new person is in our home. Finally, Lady is not great with small children. I think the loud noises maybe irritate her a little. Lady really is a wonderful dog, but is no longer a good fit for our family. We absolutely do not want Lady going to a home that already has another large dog or young children. Thank you!
