About Sampson

Sampson is an 11 year old neutered male mix breed. We adopted him from the Atchison County Humane Society when he was 8 weeks old, and they said he is a Labrador/Pitbull mix. Sampson is a loving and loyal dog. He gets along well with our other dog and our cats. He is around our neighbor dogs that he can interact with through the fence, but he mostly ignores them. He rarely barks unless he is provoked. He is an indoor dog but does enjoy being outside as long as it is not for hours on end. He can usually be found chilling in the same room as his humans. He can be playful and silly. He likes to chew on bones and will sometimes try and play tug of war or chase a ball. Sampson is curious and wants to sniff and smell you whenever you get home or when guests come over he feels the need to sniff and smell them. He does not jump up on people and has never been aggressive. He does well with kids. He is mild mannered and well behaved. Sampson can get anxious during storms and does not care for loud noises. He needs a loving family. Please give him a chance.
