About Jasper

Jasper is an 11 year old neutered male mix breed. He is a mix of German Shepherd/Pitbull and Saint Bernard/Brittany, and we adopted him from his mother's family when he was 9 weeks old. He has always been an indoor dog, but he loves to be outdoors. He hasn't been around very many other dogs besides our second dog and the neighbor dogs that he interacts with through the fence. He has never been aggressive towards another dog or cat, and never to a person. He is good with kids. Jasper is mild mannered and sweet. He likes to play with a football with our other dog but doesn't do fetch very well. He will go pick it up and then go lay down with it rather than bring it back to you. He does not usually bark unless provoked. He will bark once or twice if someone knocks on the door, but that is it. Sometimes when playing, he will make a groaning type noise that we call his Chewbacca imitation. He has always been a very loyal dog to us. He does not usually jump up on people when they come in but does want to say hello. Jasper is a very good dog that deserves another loving family. Please give him a chance.
