About Sasha

Hi, I'm Sasha! I'm about 5 years old, around 50 pounds, spayed, and currently in Georgia. I'm ready to travel when my forever family finds me. I'm an incredibly sweet, gentle girl who loves people-I'm just still working on believing the world is a safe place. After spending more than two months in a shelter, new sounds and quick movements can still startle me. But when I'm nervous, I don't run away from people. I run to them for reassurance. Give me a little time to settle, and you'll start seeing the happy girl underneath: tail wags, kisses, affection, and a dog who wants to stay close to the people she trusts. With other dogs, I do best with calm, supervised introductions so I don't feel overwhelmed. What I really need is a patient, steady home where I'm allowed to build confidence at my own pace.
