Our 9 y/o baby needs a new home as I am deploying and my wife is pregnant. He is a sweet dog but incredibly independent as Anatolians often are. He is a 'my way or the highway' kind of dog. I wish we could keep him, but he only answers to me and not my wife. We feel he would be better suited on a farm or some place where livestock guardian dogs belong. He is a great dog and I love him so much, but I have to do what's best for my family now. We adopted him in May and we were his third home. He previously was a runaway, then lived with an elderly woman until she had to move to assisted living. We hope his next home is the right fit for him. He would make any family happy if they took the time to invest in some remedial training and offered him a fenced-in area to patrol as Anatolians do. Please reach out with questions!
