(DOB 07/31/2021) Nash is heart worm positive, but do not let that stop you from adopting him. He is available for adoption within a 1-hour radius of Wake Forest, NC so he can receive his treatment, which the rescue will cover the expenses for when it is time. And don't worry, our rescue will guide you through the process. Meet Nash-your sweet, squishy, slightly Eeyore-ish lover boy! %90%BEժ Nash is not your usual pup. He may be young, but this boy has the soul of a much older gentleman. He's wonderfully laid-back, loves his people and is perfectly content to hang out nearby, soaking up attention. He's not particularly interested in what the other animals are doing and is happy to do his own thing. In fact, 'lazy' may be one of his favorite words! When Nash does decide it's time for fun, he enjoys a good game of tug-of-war and absolutely LOVES his plush toys. Of course, loving plushies means they sometimes meet an unfortunate fate; Nash is determined to discover what's inside every single one! His other signature move is the 'Boxer paw'. Want attention? Paw. Want to play? Paw. Want some love? You guessed it'|PAW! %9D%A4%8F Nash is a sweet, affectionate boy who enjoys being with his people and has a gentle, easygoing personality. He is fully house trained and crate trained, making him a pretty easy guy to have around. He's also wonderfully content to keep himself entertained and doesn't need to be the center of attention every minute. A fenced yard would be ideal for Nash because he currently prefers to do his business off-leash and isn't quite convinced that potty time should happen while attached to one! With some patient leash training and a little encouragement, he may absolutely learn that going potty on leash is part of the deal. If your idea of the perfect dog is a sweet, goofy, low-key cuddle buddy with occasional bursts of tug-of-war energy and a serious plush-toy demolition hobby, Nash may be your guy. He's an old soul in a young dog's body, and he's ready to paw his way right into your heart! %90%BE%9D%A4%8F As part of Nash's $300 adoption fee, he will be neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
