About Porter

EMERGENCY - PORTER NEEDS A FOSTER OR ADOPTER NOW PORTER - 10 Months Old Approx. 50 lbs Mixed Breed Porter's situation has become an emergency. He is only 10 months old, and right now his shelter is whatever car or truck he can crawl underneath at a junkyard. He is living outside, chained with a lock around his neck, surrounded by old vehicles and debris. There is no real shelter and no reliable food or water. The rescue has been providing dog food for Porter, but we have learned that the food intended for him has been sold instead of consistently being given to him. This puppy cannot continue living like this. The weather is getting colder, and Porter desperately needs someone willing to open their home to him - even if it is only as a foster. And despite everything, Porter is an absolute sweetheart.He loves people, is good with children, and gets along with other dogs. He is affectionate, friendly and still just a puppy. He deserves the chance to learn what it feels like to sleep somewhere warm, eat every day, play with toys and know that the person caring for him isn't going to let him down. The rescue will take care of getting Porter vaccinated and neutered. What we need right now is somewhere safe for him to go. We are looking for a FOSTER OR ADOPTER who can get Porter out of that junkyard and off that chain. He doesn't need a perfect home. He needs a safe one. Please help us get Porter somewhere warm before the cold weather arrives. If you cannot foster or adopt, please share him.
