About Ryu

Hi, I'm Ryu! Age: Approx. 4 years Gender: Neutered Male Weight: 70 lbs Breed: Akita Mix Favorites: Treats, investigating the play yard, singing the song of my people Energy level: Moderate Training: Appears potty trained Other important info about me: Look, I'm not a subtle guy. I've got a big personality and a lot to say. If I've got somewhere to be, I may or may not clear myself a path to get there. And what's wrong with that?! I'm kind of a big, clumsy oaf, and I may serenade you for half the day, but for traits that might sound problematic on paper, the shelter staff and volunteers find me super hilarious and lovable! Now, I may not be the best choice for an apartment or anywhere else my frequent opinions may not be appreciated, or for very old or very young people, but if you want someone goofy, outgoing, and entertaining, and don't mind a smidgen of chaos here and there, then I'm the dog for you! I haven't been tested with other dogs quite yet, so if you have other pups at home they would need to meet with me at the shelter before taking me home. I haven't been tested with cats at this time. If you are interested in adopting me, please submit an adoption inquiry through this listing, email [email protected], or call us at 281-214-9045!
