About Lucas

Lucas is a joyful, playful, endearing guy who seems to wake up every day ready to have a good time! He's immediately friendly with new people and loves being around his humans. Whether he's asking you to play or hoping for some cuddle time, Lucas is happiest when he's getting attention from his favorite people. With his high energy and playful personality, Lucas would love an active home where he can get plenty of exercise, enrichment, and, of course, lots of playtime. He does well with other dogs, although he can get pretty excited when another dog is reacting to him on walks. He's also still working on his leash manners and may pull, but he's easy to handle and eager to keep learning. Lucas is crate trained and making great progress with his house training. He knows 'sit' and is continuing to work on his other basic commands. He has marked a few times after meeting other dogs, so his new family should be prepared to continue reinforcing his house manners. If you're looking for a fun-loving, affectionate pup who will keep you smiling and happily be your personal playmate and cuddle buddy, Lucas could be your guy!
