About Kai

FOSTER COMMITTMENT /ADOPTER COMMITTMENT NEEDED!!!! Kai is a 2 year old, 29lb herding breed. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on all vaccines, and heartworm negative. He is tiny, he is spunky, he is looking for a savvy, adult only home that can help him channel his grit, enthusiasm, and athleticism into something constructive. While Kai does enjoy playing with other dogs and has no apparent preferences between males/females, he does like to control movement when he feels like the group hang isn't going according to plan. In a home setting, Kai rides fabulously in the car, is potty trained, and is reportedly prone to jumping straight up into the air like a kangaroo when he feels a walk is too slow. He is always down for a splash in the kiddie pool or a rowdy game of tug at the shelter. what that means is you need experience with cattle dogs, or herders. He is very easy going and has good temperament. May be an agility prospect... Currently in Alachua shelter. NEED A COMMITTED FOSTER /FOSTER TO ADOPT/ADOPTER
