About Spyder Monkey

Hello, everyone! My name is Spyder Monkey, but my friends call me Monkey. I'm a 2-year-old Yorkie mix girl, and at just 9.4 lbs, I'm the perfect size for cuddling! I ended up at a local shelter, but FCCR came to my rescue, and now I'm hoping my forever family is just around the corner. I'm a sweet, loving girl who is happiest curled up on your lap or hanging out close by. When I want some attention or a lift up, I'll paddle my little paws at you - it's my signature move and an adorable way of saying, 'Pick me up!' I'm a quiet little girl. In fact, my foster mom hasn't heard me bark yet! I have good house manners in my foster home, and I love car rides, so I'd be happy to tag along on your adventures. Dogs? We get along well as long as they respect my personal space. Cats? I haven't met any yet so not sure if we can be roomies. Kids? I would do best with older, dog-savvy kids who know how to be gentle with a tiny girl like me. I love being out in the sunshine and exploring the yard. I'm also good on a leash, although I haven't had much practice yet.
