Upstate NY Introducing Dallas for rehoming -UTD on all shots including bordetella, clean fecal as of 8/26 -spayed and microchipped 1 yr old heeler(/border collie mix?), birthday August 20th, 2025, female. Good with kids, dogs, and cats. Knows basic obedience, kennel trained. Does well with grooming (baths, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, and nail trims). Needs an active lifestyle. Loves hiking, running, swimming, playing ball. We've worked on sit, down, touch, paw, play dead, roll over, and some other tricks. Decent recall, has been tested off leash and called off enticing things. She is a cuddler and likes to sleep in bed with you. Seems to be happier when this is possible. Some things she's still working on are that you've gotta keep shoes put up, if she's bored she will make herself unbored. Has some separation anxiety but seems to do better when properly stimulated. She can be anxious in general but has come leaps and bounds with socializing. Not a fan of the car but rides well, no vomiting or anything of that type. Seems more comfortable with women, loves all children, does well with me just slightly more reserved at first. She is looking for a home due to no fault of her own. She loves to be loved and could do anything you want her to. She's food motivated but responds really well to verbal praise/cues. She is an incredible dog and deserves to have anything life can offer. Just want her to go to a good home. Vet references/personal references preferable.
