About Oreo

Oreo is a 6-year-old male Border Collie, about 60 pounds, black and white with blue eyes. He is neutered, housebroken, crate trained, microchipped, and his shots are up to date. He is sweet with people. He runs up and rolls on his back. He stays in the front yard and does not chase cars or people. No leash pulling. He is e-collar trained and listens off leash. A collar is optional unless they want him off leash in public. He needs short training and play, but he is not a couch dog. He likes balls and loves fetch. He does not nip and has never bitten. Generally calm with dogs, and fine in a group kennel with outdoor play. He may herd a zooming dog. Cats are untried. Ok with kids if an adult is around. He gets excited and can bump little ones. No growling or biting history. He does not pace himself, so he should not be over exerted in the heat. He is fine if given water and encouraged to rest. He needs a home by December 1. No visits in December. Adopters are still screened.
