About Rinny Tin Tin

I am looking for a new home, or a shelter, for a German Shepherd. My son, in Florida, was the breeder. The dog and I are in Minnesota. The first owner lost possession because he fell back into addiction. The current owner has cancer and cannot keep him much longer. To complicate the story the dog has been registered as potentially dangerous. The former owner's girl friend said there was an incident in North Dakota, but I could tell she was not entirely honest with me. The current owner's son and his friend were at the place where the dog was kept. The dog knew the son, but not his friend. We think they were smoking marijuana in their car. The friend got out and the dog reacted aggressively. We think it was simply protecting the property and knew this kid was on drugs. Anyway, this dog is a large male, and very smart. He has a soft white coat, very fluffy. He has an alpha personality. He is supposed to registered with a kennel club, I don't know which one. His sire was a descendant of Rin Tin Tin. Another person who knows the dog well said of him, that he gets along with other dogs as long as he is alpha. He has been around 6 year old boy and a 7 year old girl and got along fine with them. He has not been around small dogs as far as I know. The current owner's property has been rezoned as commercial and he cannot keep the dog there much longer, under 30 days now.
