About Stanley

WELCOME TO THE MOUNTAINS, STANLEY! Today is the first day of the rest of Stanley's life. Stanley is a beautiful 7-year-old purebred Weimaraner who has spent his entire life as a stud dog. Until now, he had never eaten from his own bowl or known the comfort of a soft bed. That changes now. Stanley arrived with abrasions and raw spots from spending his life on hard ground. He's vaccinated, has just been neutered, and is getting the medical care he deserves. Most importantly, he needs time to decompress and learn what it feels like to simply be someone's beloved dog. Despite everything, look at that smile. Stanley is good with all dogs, loves everyone, and is very, very sweet. Sleeping indoors is still new to him, so a patient person with a calm, steady routine is ideal. Stanley is looking for a loving foster or foster-to-adopt home in Utah where nobody expects anything from him except to heal, rest, and discover all the wonderful things he's been missing. Soft beds.
