Don't see a rabbit you're interested in, contact us anyway as we may have what you're looking for. Cedar was originally purchased from a swap meet as a pet for a kid. The kid grew bored, the parents divorced and Cedar found himself neglected and shuffled from home to home until landing at the rescue. He's a friendly, charismatic guy who simply wants love. He runs to you for affection or to be picked up. He loves people. He's got good litter box habits. He's a sucker for treats. He never shies away from an outstretched hand offering head and cheek rubs. He's a prolific tooth purrer. Cedar is a great catch! Cedar was born in September 2025. He was neutered on October 1, 2026. He weighs 4-1/4 pounds. Cedar should be housed in an exercise pen or free roam. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is always open and an exercise pen placed around it. (Nylon, pop-up playpens are not recommended as a rabbit will chew right through it!) Please be over 21 if inquiring about Cedar. Our rabbit adoption questionnaire should be completed by someone in the household who is over 21. Rabbits are a 10+ year commitment. Cedar can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information. PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you've never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies!
