Perlina was rescued in September 2026 from a SoCal park known for frequent rabbit dumping. She was an easy catch and ready to be rescued as she survived the park for about ten days. She's a precious gem of a bun who is sure to pull at your heart strings. She currently weighs a little over three pounds and might grow a bit more as she is still a young bun. She has good litter box habits, loves her hidey house and always welcomes a nose rub. She's good about accepting gentle stroking and couch cuddles. She chatters her teeth when happy and content. She has an estimated date of birth of May 1, 2026. She was spayed on October 1, 2026. Perlina should be housed in an exercise pen or free roam. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is always open and an exercise pen placed around it. (Nylon, pop-up playpens are not recommended as a rabbit will chew right through it!) Please be over 21 if inquiring about Perlina. Our rabbit adoption questionnaire should be completed by someone in the household who is over 21. Rabbits are a 10+ year commitment. Perlina can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information. PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you've never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies!
