About Takeo

Takeo is a precious and incredibly charming 10 pound black, tan, and white parti-colored Pomeranian boy born on March 1, 2024. Takeo is current on his annual vaccinations, heartworm test, and monthly heartworm preventative. He has also received a recent vet checkup showing good health. He is a very sweet and loving boy who enjoys children and would make a wonderful family companion. Because Takeo was only recently neutered and previously lived around intact dogs, his new family should understand that he may need some patience while adjusting to life as a retired stud. He has been accustomed to lifting his leg to mark, so we currently have him wear a belly band while indoors. This behavior may lessen or stop as his testosterone levels continue to decrease, but his adopter should be prepared to work with him if needed. Takeo does wonderfully with female dogs, and I would recommend a home with only spayed females, as he does not seem to get along well with other males.
