About Possum

POSSUM WOULD RATHER BE IN YOUR LAP! At just 8 months old, Possum has already figured out her favorite place in the world: as close to her person as she can possibly get. This sweet, gentle girl would rather climb into your lap than be just about anywhere else. She's friendly, affectionate and easy to handle, and she walks beautifully on leash. For such a young dog, Possum already has some lovely qualities to bring to a new family. Possum was found with another young female dog and has continued to seem friendly toward other dogs she's encountered. Thoughtful introductions are always important, but what we've seen so far has been encouraging. And then there's that face. At only 31 pounds, Possum is a petite little girl with warm brown eyes, a pink nose and one of those happy smiles that seems to light up her whole face. She doesn't need to be the biggest dog in your life. She just wants to be the one sitting in your lap. Come meet Possum. Just make sure you leave a little room in your lap-she already has plans for it.
