Sally was found abandoned in the forest with a big pile of dog food. He's come a long way in the past two months-- he's healthy, gaining weight at 35 lbs, has been neutered and is doing great with training-- and is now ready to find his forever home. Sally is heartworm negative and currently taking NexGuard for flea/tick/heartworm prevention. He will be happiest in a home with other pets. He loves to play with his rope toys and herding ball, and he enjoys doing scent work. We have taken him to do 'Barnhunt', and he really enjoys finding the rats! This boy would love a job to do! He walks well on the leash, is great in the car, and is highly motivated by treats. Crate trained. He is an outside dog at our house, but we assume he is housebroken, because he does not poop or pee on our screened-in porch-- only on walks or in the yard. He will make a great companion for an active person or family with a fenced in yard.
