About Brick

Meet Brick! Brick is a handsome male Heeler mix who has very quickly earned himself the highly prestigious title of Certified Good Boy��%BD��%BD. The more we get to know Brick, the more we like him. He has good manners with his handlers, walks beautifully on leash without much pulling, takes direction well, and has a great head on his shoulders. Brick is definitely your typical Heeler in some ways-you've got to earn your way into his inner circle a little bit. He may not immediately decide you're his best friend, but once you've earned his affection? He's the BEST boy. Brick is smart and responsive to his people. He can be a little wary of other dogs, but he redirects easily and looks to his handler for guidance. With someone willing to keep that clever Heeler brain engaged and continue working with him, we think he has the potential to be one heck of a companion. Whether it's adventures, training, learning new tricks, or simply being included in whatever his humans are doing, Brick seems ready to find his person. Sometimes a dog comes through our doors and everyone collectively thinks, 'Oh, somebody is going to get REALLY lucky with this one.' That's Brick. Smart. Handsome. Great on leash.
