FOSTER Or ADOPTER NEEDED: MEET AUDRA! This 1 year old beautiful girl is searching for her forever home or a new foster. She narrowly escaped euthanasia at an NC shelter. She is approx 14 mos old and doing great. Audra is friendly with other dogs, but she does need to be separated at meal time. She will guard her food. Thanks to patient fostering, she's made great progress. Now, she only guard my high-value food and treats. As long as she can eat in her own private space (like a crate or quiet room) she will do wonderfully. She loves kids also, but because she still gets anxious if someone tries to reach for her food or take high-value chews, a home with dog-savvy or slightly older kids who understand basic mealtime boundaries is best. Audra will also do best in a home committed to structure, positive reinforcement, and feeding in a secure space. If interested in this precious girl, please contact Julie on 919 624 0059. She will be spayed before adoption.
