About Philbert

Uniquely adorable Philbert is looking for his forever home after a very tough start in his little life. A beautiful chocolate dapple long hair with a wonderful personality, 4 years, 9 lbs, he has a total doxie body, shorter ears. He's friendly and oh, so sweet! Phil was a stray in rural Mississippi, clearly having been on his own for a while. He came to rescue so thin, weak, severely anemic, with half of his fur gone. His skin was raw from flea infestation. Many months later, Philbert is a new 'man', healthy and happy, ready for a wonderful family. He likes other dogs, is enjoying learning to play with toys. He loves his humans, wants to be close. Phil is a total doll, a great little guy! Fostered near Philadelphia, PA. Adoption fee $395. www.longdogsrescue.org/application
