About Bama

Meet Bama! ��%90%BE Bama is a 6.5-year-old, 50-lb Australian Cattle Dog/Terrier mix who is basically the definition of a good house dog. She LOVES people, loves cuddles, and gives full-body wiggles when you come home. She is completely housebroken, does well in a crate (she may whine for a minute, but settles quickly), and is picking up basic commands fast. Bama is low energy and perfectly happy to spend time lounging on the couch with you. She also enjoys her walks, and we're working on her pulling skills. She loads up in a vehicle like a pro and absolutely loves a good sunbath. ��'ە�%8F She is good with kids and is non-reactive around dogs on walks, in public, and across a fence. She can coexist with other dogs, but she has clear boundaries and would need a dog who respects them and a family willing to introduce everyone slowly and thoughtfully. Cats? Nope. Bama is not a fan. A physical fenced yard would be ideal for her, and we think she'd probably LOVE having a dog door. She'd enjoy being able to wander outside for a little sunbathing and then come right back in for couch time. Bama is looking for someone who appreciates a mature dog who doesn't need to be the center of the universe every second. She wants a comfortable home, some walks, some sunshine, some cuddles and, most importantly, her people. Could Bama be your girl?
