Requirement: -NO Male Dogs -NO Kids -NO Cats -Must have a fenced backyard This is incredibly heartbreaking for us to write. We love our dog very much and have had him since he was a puppy. He is almost 3 years old and has been a part of our family his entire life. Unfortunately, he has shown aggression toward our 6-year-old daughter and has bitten her on more than one occasion. After the first incidents, we hoped that having him neutered and continuing to work with him would help. Sadly, he recently bit her again. As difficult as this decision is, our daughter's safety has to come first, and we can no longer safely keep him in a home with a young child. We are hoping to find him the right home rather than simply surrendering him. He needs an experienced, responsible owner and a home without children. We want to be completely transparent about his history so that whoever considers taking him understands his needs and can determine whether they are the right fit. Full breed Scottish Terrier, health tested, and AKC registered. He is neutered. Please reach out privately if you are seriously interested or know someone experienced who may be able to help.
