About Thor

This is THOR. He may be ~1 years old but you know in the Great Dane timeline that is very much a puppy still. He is around 140lbs already. Neutered and vetted. Full of energy and the most friendly demeanor with all humans. He is house trained and does well when his human leaves the house in his crate. His crate is his safe space and he will often go take a little nap in there. He does get into some mischief as all puppies do. He learned how to open the trash can the other day.. oops! He also does need to be fed separately as of right now. He gets a little grumbly but as with all dogs from the shelter we recommend seperate feeding anyways. Thor does great with female dogs and is learning how to be a mature gentleman with male dogs. He just got neutered so we think this will resolve in time. He does LOVE human attention so you have to remind him that the other dogs can get loving too! In his free time Thor loves using the magnetic doggy door to go in and out of the house as he pleases. You'll often find him rolling around and sunbathing in the grass. He is a smart boy and knows the basics. His foster mom is working with him daily and he does a great job listening. Lap dog? Yep. Like all danes he thinks he is the size of a chihuahua and will crawl right up on top of you.
