About Nellie

Meet Nellie, a 5-year-old Chihuahua who embodies sweetness and bravery. She is also called a deer-head Chihuahua with her adorable upright ears. At 8.6 lbs, she's the perfect lap-sized companion, known for her intelligence and cuddly nature. Nellie adores cuddling up in a cozy blanket, with only her little nose showing. Nellie is wonderfully loyal and friendly, making her an ideal addition to the family. This precious girl loves to be right by your side and follow in your footsteps. She loves attention. She's also gentle and mellow, suited to a calm environment. While she's still mastering house training, she's already crate-trained. Nellie gets along well with other fur babies, adding to her friendly charm. She enjoys car rides, making her the perfect travel buddy. Nellie's blend of charm and smarts makes her perfect for anyone looking to add a loving, devoted member to their family. A fenced-in outdoor area for playtime is preferred. To apply, the person must be at least 21 years of age. All other pets in the home must be up to date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, and on preventives. (Unless there is a medical condition.) Veterinary checks will be conducted. The adoption fee includes wellness, vaccines to date her, fecal, preventives, and spay, which is only covered at our Veterinary Hospital. Her spay appointment is scheduled for October 15th. Fosters are part of the family. We do not adopt if the foster will be kept outside in a lot or tied up. (Louie Blue Rescue has the final say on all adoptions of our fosters. We are dedicated to matching our Fosters with the perfect new home. Fenced area preferred.
