About Valentino

Valentino is a sweet, playful German Shepherd mix who may need a moment to take everything in, but once he realizes he is safe, he is ready to show you his wonderful personality. He is a particularly petite Shepherd mix, currently around 35 pounds, and we expect him to stay on the smaller side at roughly 45 pounds or less full grown. Valentino can be shy when meeting new people, but he warms up quickly. Offer him some yummy treats, give him a little encouragement, and you will soon have his attention, and his heart too. He loves treats, already knows 'sit,' and is a very sweet, playful boy who is eager to learn. Valentino has been raised with children, dogs, and cats and has done wonderfully with all of them. He is also doing great with potty training and crate training. He is working on leash training and is making good progress with a confident, consistent person who can show him that new experiences are nothing to worry about. Once Valentino gets comfortable and has time to decompress, his happy puppy personality really comes out. He loves to play, enjoys spending time with his people, and is ready to be your little sidekick. Continued socialization will be important as Valentino grows. Taking him along on outings, introducing him to new people and places, and helping him experience the world in a positive way will give him the confidence and manners he needs to become a wonderful adult dog. Valentino is sweet, smart, playful, treat motivated, and the perfect petite pup for someone who loves German Shepherds but wants a smaller companion. Give him a little time, a little patience, and maybe a few tasty snacks, and you will quickly discover what a special boy he is. Est DOB 1/1/26
