Harley is a 12 year old, 33 pound sweetheart with a short, stocky build and an absolutely adorable face. She may be a senior girl on paper, but spend a little time with her and you'll quickly realize Harley doesn't act her age. With her people, she is a happy little wiggle butt who loves attention and becomes surprisingly outgoing once she knows you. Harley can be a little shy when she first meets someone, but she warms up quickly. Once she decides you're her person, prepare to have a new shadow! Harley becomes attached to her people and is happiest simply being close to them. She is mellow, easygoing, and wonderfully content to find her favorite spot on a cozy bed or couch and settle in for the day. Harley is definitely an indoor dog. She has no interest in spending her days outside and would much rather come inside after a quick potty break and get comfortable again. She is potty trained and is very businesslike about her outdoor time. She goes outside when she needs to go potty and then heads right back inside where she belongs. Harley does okay with other dogs, but she has opinions about who she wants to share her space with. She prefers calm, mellow dogs and would not enjoy living with puppies or very exuberant dogs. She likes to be the queen bee and would be perfectly happy as the only dog in the home. If she does have a canine companion, a laid-back dog who respects her space would be her ideal roommate. Despite being 12, Harley still enjoys going for walks and loves a good car ride. She isn't looking for an action packed lifestyle, though. Her idea of a perfect day is a little adventure with her people followed by plenty of relaxing somewhere comfortable. Harley is the kind of dog who reminds you that senior doesn't mean boring. She has a calm and easygoing nature, but when her people are around, that little wiggle butt comes out and you get to see the playful, affectionate girl hiding underneath those years. She wants a cozy place inside, a soft bed or couch, a person to be her shadow, and a family who will appreciate the wonderful dog she is. Give Harley a comfortable home and someone to love, and she'll happily spend her golden years right by your side.
