About Black Jack

Black Jack is the kind of dog who may be impossible to miss because of his size, but once you meet him, it is his incredibly sweet personality that you will remember. He is a very big boy with an even bigger heart, and he is ready to find a family who will love him for the gentle, playful, affectionate dog that he is. Black Jack is a DNA tested German Shepherd/Boxer mix, and he is a wonderful combination of strength, playfulness, and devotion. He is friendly, social, and genuinely happy to meet people. Despite his impressive size, Black Jack is simply a big softie who loves attention and is always happy to soak up some affection. And if there is one thing Black Jack will never turn down, it is a good belly rub. He absolutely loves them and will happily settle in for some one-on-one attention from his people. Those quiet moments are just as important to him as playtime, and he has a wonderfully affectionate side that makes him an easy dog to fall for. Black Jack is also playful and enjoys getting out, having fun, and being part of the action. He is the type of dog who would love a family that wants a big companion to share life with, whether that means playtime, walks, adventures, or simply hanging out together at home. He currently attends adoption events and loves meeting all the people who stop by to say hello. But while Black Jack is always happy to make new friends, what he really wants is to stop making the rounds and finally have a family he can call his own. Black Jack is a big, sweet, playful boy with a whole lot of love to give. He is ready for the family who will see past his size and discover the affectionate, goofy, belly rub loving sweetheart underneath. He has been waiting for his forever home, and we hope he does not have to wait much longer. Est DOB 5/18/26
