About Mari-Posa

Hi guys! My name is Mari-Posa and I am about 1 year and 6 months old. I am a Maltese/ Terrier mix and am only about 12 lbs. I am fully vetted and healthy! I am not expected to get much bigger, but definitely not over 20 lbs. I have only lived outdoors for my entire life, so transitioning to indoors will be new for me and I will need some work with potty training. I am a little shy when meeting new people, but once I have had the chance to settle down and give you a proper sniff, I absolutely LOVE to be in your lap giving you kisses. I am the biggest snuggle bug and my favorite place to be is in my persons' arms. I have been around kids, and I get along well with other dogs I just need a proper introduction! I am comfortable with other dogs being around me, as this is what I have always been used to but wouldn't mind being the only dog in the home either. I am super sweet and would love to experience what life is like inside a loving, warm home. I am not used to collars or leashes, but will be working on this daily at the rescue until I find my forever family, it is going well thus far! Although I will need a little more patience and time, I have the utmost potential of being a wonderful companion and would be over the moon to find my forever family before the holidays. I hope you will consider coming to meet me and showing me what little dog life is supposed to look like!
